The Geotechnical Engineering Manager must have a minimum of a Master of Science in civil engineering. Applicant should specialize in geotechnical engineering. An applicant with a Ph.D. degree from the United States and a bachelor’s and/or master’s degrees from other countries is also acceptable. Applicant must have a minimum of six years of experience. Experience in foreign countries does not count. The applicant must be a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the United States.
The Environmental Engineering Manager must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in geology and/or civil engineering. The applicant’s specialty should be environmental engineering. We cannot accept applicants with their degrees from other countries. An applicant with a Ph.D. and/or master’s degree from the United States and a bachelor’s and/or master’s degrees from other countries is also acceptable. Applicant must be licensed as a professional environmental geologist (PG) in the United States.
The Materials Engineer must have a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. The applicant’s specialty should be civil/geotechnical or materials engineering. The applicant must have at least six years of experience in the United States. Experience in foreign countries does not count. The applicant must be a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the United States.
The Forensic Engineering Manager must have a minimum of a Master of Science in civil engineering. The applicant should specialize in forensic or geotechnical engineering. An applicant with a master’s degree from the United States and a bachelor’s degree from another country is acceptable. He/she must have a minimum of six years’ experience. Experience in foreign countries does not count. The applicant must be a licensed professional engineer (P.E.) in the United States.
The certified technician should be a level II or III. The applicant will be required to dispatch technicians, go to job sites, look over non-nicet certified technicians, schedule jobs and review reports. The applicant should make sure the warehouse is clean and the other technicians maintain their trucks.
The applicant for this position should be a high school graduate. This job involves going to job sites, test concrete cylinders, test concrete, soils, asphalt, and steel. The applicant will pick up samples, run proctors, densities, keep the laboratory clean, etc. The applicant must fill out paperwork at the end of each day for the projects he/she has worked on. The applicant must keep maintenance on the truck he/she drives. GET has a training program for technicians, therefore, experience is not necessary.
The applicant for this position must be hard working and mechanically inclined. Observing safety rules are paramount in this position. The applicant must be a high school graduate. This position is an outside job taking soil samples using a drill rig. The applicant must be able to do maintenance on the truck and rig. The applicant should be able to handle the heat in the summer and the cold in the winter. There is three days of unpaid training with this position. GET has a training program for drillers, therefore, experience is not necessary.
The applicant for this position must be able to work 50 hours a week. He/she must have good communication skills and be knowledgeable in QuickBooks Accounting Software, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel. The bookkeeper does the payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections, etc.
The applicant for this position should work 50 hours a week. The duties involved with this position vary. The responsibilities include: manage secretaries, typing, copying, filing, mailing, arrange pick up / deliveries, transcribe reports, assist secretaries with soil reports, handle special projects, develop client contact sheets, keep the database of clients updated, keep postage machine up to date with postage, order supplies for the office, keep up the time clock, help with human resources, perform background checks, file lawsuits and liens for clients who don’t pay, etc. He/she must have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, Act, etc.
The applicant for this position should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Act. This position requires copying, typing, filing, answering the telephone, working with engineers, and helping other departments when typing slows down. Previous experience is a plus.
The applicant must have good telephone conversation skills. There is going to be a lot of phone calling. The applicant must be able to work 50 hours a week. He/she will market our services to builders, architects, civil engineers, schools, etc. He/she will respond to request for qualifications, work on company brochure, and go to lunch and dinner meetings, representing GET. He/she should be able to put proposals together.
